A breathtaking blend of Nepal’s sacred Pashupatinath Temple and the majestic Himalayas in one iconic image.

Chardham Yatra (India)

The Chardham Yatra is a journey of faith, nature, and cultural exploration. Taj Tour and Travel in Gorakhpur ensures a seamless experience. Chardham Yatra is one of the most revered pilgrimage circuits in India, attracting lakhs of devotees every year. Located in the majestic Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, the yatra covers four sacred shrines — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath — each dedicated to different deities and deeply rooted in Hindu mythology. This spiritual journey is believed to wash away sins and grant salvation (moksha) to the devotees who complete it. Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna River and is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Gangotri marks the origin of the holy Ganges and is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Kedarnath, situated near the Mandakini River, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, while Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the most important Vaishnavite shrines in the country. Apart from its spiritual significance, the Chardham Yatra offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, dense forests, serene rivers, and ancient Himalayan villages. The journey, though physically challenging due to high altitudes and remote terrains, is deeply rewarding for the soul. Whether you’re a spiritual seeker or a nature lover, the Chardham Yatra promises an experience of divine connection, inner peace, and natural beauty all rolled into one.
